MARTA Reach 1.1.0

MARTA and Georgia Tech have commenced a 6-month pilot program, starting from March 1st, offering a new on-demand rideshare service. This service is designed to connect passengers across four zones within the region to MARTA bus and rail services efficiently. Known as MARTA Reach, the initiative aims to evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of on-demand shuttles in enhancing the accessibility and speed of MARTA transportation for commuters. As part of MARTA's ongoing efforts, particularly within the NextGen Bus project, this pilot serves as a testing ground to ascertain how on-demand services can complement and extend the coverage of existing buses and trains. MARTA Reach has been developed to seamlessly integrate with current transit services, thereby reducing wait times and walking distances. Users can utilize a dedicated app to request trips through MARTA Reach.
